– $60 first hour, $35 for each subsequent hour.
– $300 bond
Regular Bookings – Daytime and Weeknights
– $35 first hour, $25 for each subsequent hour.
– $200 bond
Friday / Saturday Nights – Functions
– First Floor $400 to $500
– Ground Floor $350 to $450
– Both Ground and First $700 to $850
– Audio Hire Upon Request
Please note:
18th / 21st Celebrations: the Samford Farmers Hall does not accept 18th or 21st birthday parties or similar such celebrations as the insurance aspects related to holding such events are beyond the capacity of the Hall.
Hall Hire Rates
Regular Hire Bookings – Our weekly returning clients
– $40 per hour, flat rate
– $200 bond
Casual Bookings – i.e. Workshops / Training sessions / Classes
– $60 first hour, $40 for each subsequent hour (per day)
– $300 bond
Saturday Nights or Functions – Access to the hall from early until 10 PM
– First Floor $850
– Ground Floor $650
– Both Ground and First $1,500 (weddings and events exceeding 50 ppl)
– Cleaning Fee $90 per hour (calculated after event, min 2 hours for after hours and weekends)
– Audio Hire Upon Request
– Total hire $1,680 (incl, 2 hours cleaning)
Half day hires are available, but would still incur a cleaning cost.

Security Deposit Information
The bond for the Samford Farmers Hall is based on the following considerations:
- Low Risk Activity – less than 50 people, no alcohol to be consumed
- Low Risk Activity – less than 20 people, event with alcohol
- Medium Risk Activity – less than a 100 people, no alcohol to be consumed
- Medium Risk Activity – less than 50 people, event with alcohol
- High Risk Activity – less than a 100 people, event with alcohol (note: additional cleaning costs may apply).
The SFH Committee reserves the right to designate the level of risk to be applied for activities that do not readily fit into the listed bond descriptions.
Bond fees are:
- Low Risk $750
- Medium Risk $1000
- High Risk $2000
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation at 7 days or less notice
Cancellation fee is full hire fees (excluding bond)
Cancellation 8 to 30 days’ notice
Cancellation fee is 25% of hire fees (excluding bond)
Facilities included in hire rate and other facilities that can be made available
- Commercial cook top and oven / heating
- Fans
- Tables and chairs for 100 people
- Air Conditioning
- Crockery and cutlery for 80 people
- Lectern
- BARCO style projector and wall mounted screen (upstairs on stage)
- Microphones and sound system (upstairs on stage)
